Troop 368 is one of two BSA Troops in Berkeley Heights. We usually meet at Mountain Park School at 7:30 – 9:00 PM on every Tuesday that school is on. Additionally we go on a campout or trip once a month.

Fun activities include: camping, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, skiing/snowboarding, biking, climbing/rappelling, survival, whitewater rafting, historical places, and more! Boys ages 11 to 17 can join. The Troop is run by the scouts under adult supervision.  It is sponsored by the Berkeley Heights Rotary Club.

Every Boy Scout troop is made up of patrols, groupings of three to eight scouts who work together as a team. Each patrol has its own leader. The Patrol Leaders, with a Senior Patrol Leader as their head, form the Patrol Leaders’ Council. It is this council's job to plan and run the troop program

 That's what Scouting offers young men worldwide! You begin an exciting set of adventures when you join the world of Scouting. With Scouting, you'll hike along wooded trails, canoe down rushing streams, and camp under the open sky. At the end of a long day, you’ll enjoy the unique taste of food that you cook yourself over a camping stove. As a Scout, you will travel the backcountry without leaving a trace, and live with only what you carry in your pockets and pack. Sound inviting? .

Scouting is also a doorway to friendship. Friends you know may already be in your troop, and you'll meet lots of other scouts along the way. Scouting is a worldwide brotherhood many millions strong. Almost anywhere you go, you will find scouts excited about the same things you are. Friendships made in Boy Scouts last a lifetime!

Scouts who are 14 years and older get to go on the "realy cool" trips every summer.  Every summer we do one high adventure trip for the older Scouts.  Some places we have been to: 1 Week Raft Trip down the Coloardo River through the Grand Canyon; 1 Week Sailing Trip around the Bahamas; 1 Week of Caving, Climbing/Rapelling, Whitewater Rafting and Mtn Biking in West Virginia; 1 Week Canoe Trek through the Adirondacks, NY; 2 Week Backpack Trip in the Sangre Mountains in New Mexico.. where do you want go next?

Become tomorrows communiyt leader! Scouts and Alumni become Football Captains, Band Leaders, Class Presidents, Company CEOs, Community Leaders, and Presidents. 

Want to learn the skills that are used outdoors? Boy Scouts know how to find their way with a map and compass/GPS, stay warm and dry in stormy weather, and develop a respect for the environment. They observe wildlife up close and study nature all around them.

Webelos to Boy Scout Transition

The Webelos IIs cross over with their arrow of light in Feburary/March into Boy Scouts.  Its important for all Webelos IIs to try Boy Scouts -- you will be VERY SUPRISED.  The Boy Scout program is different from the Cub Scout Program which attracts the 10 and 11 year old. 

Sports?  Not a problem.  Boy Scouts is an individual advanement program and take what you want.  There is no problem coming late to a Scout meeting in a sports uniform.  We want our Scouts do both -- Scouts and Sports.
